What we collect
We collect only what you choose to submit through a form on this site:
- Contact / enquiry form: your name, email address and message.
- Careers application: your name, email address, phone number, the role applied for, your résumé file, and the role-relevant details you provide — for example statutory or competency certificates held and their numbers, years of experience, qualifications, current location, notice period, and (optionally) current and expected remuneration.
We do not ask for, and you should not submit, any sensitive information beyond what the form requests.
Why we collect it & your consent
We process this data only to respond to your enquiry or to consider your job application. We collect it on the basis of the consent you give via the checkbox on each form, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act). You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.
How we use it internally
When you submit a form, a notification is emailed to the relevant internal mailbox so that we can respond. Job applications are additionally compiled into a periodic internal summary for our recruitment leads. Access to submissions and résumés is restricted to authorised personnel.
Where your data is stored
This website is hosted on Vercel. Form submissions and uploaded résumés are stored in our Supabase database and file storage. Notification and summary emails are sent through our email provider. These providers process data on our behalf, under their own security and data-protection commitments; some may store or process data outside India.
How long we keep it
Application data and résumés are retained only as long as needed for the recruitment process, and then purged after a short grace window. Enquiry data is kept only as long as needed to respond and follow up. You may ask us to delete your data sooner.
Cookies & analytics
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we enable basic, aggregate website analytics to understand traffic, this notice will be updated to say so.
Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you may ask us to access, correct, update or erase the personal data you have submitted, withdraw your consent, or nominate another person to exercise your rights. To do so, email hr@mangalamcoal.com. We will respond within a reasonable period. If you are not satisfied, you may raise a grievance with us at the same address before approaching the Data Protection Board of India.
Sharing
We do not sell your data and we do not share it for marketing. We disclose it only to the service providers described above, to our authorised personnel, or where required by law.
