Workforce medicals are not a policy statement — they run on a schedule. Mangalam holds a health check-up camp at Amlabad Colliery every six months, open to its own and contractor workforce. At the camp held in July 2026, around 150 workers and staffwere examined by a team of visiting doctors, who also advised each person individually on keeping up regular check-ups and observing safety standards at work.
Periodical medical examination is a statutory duty, not a courtesy: rule 111 of the Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions (Central) Rules, 2026 prescribes the notices an employer and manager must issue for it. Those forms are in ourregulations library.
Amlabad is an underground coking-coal mine, and underground coking-coal seams are gassy by nature. That is precisely why every statutory position, register, ventilation plan and gas check exists — and why we treat them as non-negotiable rather than as paperwork.
