Summary
Amends the CEA Safety Regulations, 2023 by defining battery energy storage systems and adding Chapter XA (regulations 122(A) to 122(N)) of safety requirements for them, including two-fault tolerance and an independent third-party fire safety audit. It also adds regulation 137, under which the Authority will issue a list of relevant standards.
