CMR 2017 → Draft OSH&WC (Coal Mines) Regulations 2026
Where each of the 260 regulations of the Coal Mines Regulations, 2017 goes in the Draft OSH&WC (Coal Mines) Regulations, 2026 (G.S.R. 67(E), 28 Jan 2026), and what changed in its words.
The 2026 regulations are a draft, not in force: CMR 2017 continues under the OSH&WC Code's savings clause until they are notified as final. This table was produced by machine comparison of the two texts as extracted from their PDFs and is a starting point, not legal advice. Check both texts before relying on a match; where it says "likely now in", that is a suggestion.

New in the draft
Draft regulations with no counterpart in CMR 2017.
Method: each CMR 2017 regulation is paired with the draft regulation whose heading and text are closest, one to one where possible; "probable" marks a weaker pair. Where the draft has none, the OSH&WC (Central) Rules, 2026 and the OSH&WC Code, 2020 are searched. "What changed" compares the words of the two texts: struck-through words are in CMR 2017 only, highlighted words in the draft only; long unchanged stretches are shortened. Text extracted from scanned or bilingual PDFs can carry recognition errors.
