Training centre standards, staff qualifications and refresher-training exemption

Subject: Gazette notifications of the conditions to exempt any mine from imparting refresher training, on Forms, Standards, infrastructure & facilities, qualification & experience of training officer, instructors & trainer and training allowance, etc., for training Centres under different provisions of the Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions (Central) Rule, 2026.

Sir, The Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by the sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Code, 2020 (37 of 2020), appointed the 21st day of November, 2025 as the date on which the provisions of the said Code, have come into force [S.O. 5321(E)] and subsequently Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions (Central) Rules, 2026 come into force with effect from 08.05.2026. As required under Rule 160, Rule 163 (3), Rule 163 (4), Rule 164, Rule 165 (1), Rule 176 of the Occupational Safety, Health Rule 169, Rule 172(1) (2) Rule 173 (1) and and Working Conditions (Central) Rules, 2026 following Gazette notifications on respective subject has been made and the said notifications also have been uploaded on DGMS official website, i.e. www.dgms.gov.in for information and strict compliance:
